Compared with 40-inch filter elements, the 60-inch longer body greatly expands filtration area and pollutant holding capacity, ideal for high capacity water treatment systems. It features 6-inch large outer diameter, single open-end and inside-to-outside radial filtration construction. The filter media is high purity gradient polypropylene with evenly distributed pleats and stable 5μm filtration accuracy. All joints adopt hot melt welding technology without adhesive, preventing secondary contamination in water flow. Reinforced polypropylene end cap and integrated lifting handle guarantee structural stability and rapid on-site replacement. EPDM O-ring is the standard seal, and silicone, FKM, Buna-N seals are optional to match diverse corrosive working environments. It is the preferred fine pre-filter for large load industrial water pretreatment.
Working Principle
RTM61HF050E high flow filter cartridge works on inside-to-outside depth filtration principle. Raw water flows into the inner hollow cavity from the top opening and passes radially outward through multi-layer gradient PP pleated media. Coarse particles like sediment and rust are captured by the inner coarse pleat layers, while fine silt and colloidal impurities are deeply intercepted by the dense outer filter layers. The long filtration path distributes water flow evenly to avoid local clogging and slow down the rising speed of differential pressure. The tight sealing structure prevents unfiltered liquid bypass, maintaining consistent 5μm filtration efficiency in the whole operation cycle. All trapped impurities are sealed inside the filter cartridge for safe and clean replacement.
