It adopts a 6-inch large outer diameter, single open-end structure and inside-to-outside radial filtration mode. The filter media is pure polypropylene, supported by PP diversion layers, with an end cap of glass-fiber reinforced polypropylene and an EPDM sealing ring as standard. All joints are manufactured by advanced hot-melt welding without any adhesive or surfactant, eliminating secondary contamination. The pleated structure maximizes filtration area and dirt holding capacity, allowing a single 40-inch element to handle up to 80 m³/h. This design reduces cartridge quantity and filter-vessel investment, making it a practical choice for medium and large water treatment systems.


Working Principle

RTM41HF050E operates on the inside-to-outside filtration principle. Raw water enters the inner cavity from the top open end and flows radially outward through the multi-layer pleated polypropylene media. Coarse particles are captured on the inner layers, while fine silt and colloids are intercepted by depth filtration inside the dense pleats. The U-shaped sealing groove and EPDM O-ring prevent unfiltered fluid bypass, ensuring consistent 5 μm efficiency. Because there is no metal core, all trapped contaminants stay locked inside the cartridge, making replacement and waste disposal safer and more economical.
