High Flow Filter Cartridge 50 Micron 40 Inch is an ultra-coarse grade in the high-flow filter series, specially developed for high-sediment raw water and large-volume first-stage filtration. Compared with finer 1μm, 5μm, 10μm and 20μm cartridges, the 50μm model uses a more open deep pleated media structure, maximizing water flow and tolerance to heavy particulate loading. The entire filter is made of 100% virgin polypropylene and manufactured with full thermal welding technology, free of adhesives and chemical additives, ensuring zero secondary pollution and excellent chemical stability. The 115mm large diameter greatly increases the effective filtration area, enabling single-cartridge throughput far higher than standard small-diameter filters. The standard 40-inch length is compatible with all mainstream large-flow filter housings, supporting fast replacement and stable continuous operation. It is widely used as the first-stage particulate barrier in mining water, river water, reservoir water, construction sewage and industrial raw water treatment systems.

This 50 micron 40-inch high flow filter follows the outside-in pleated surface filtration principle. When high-sediment raw water flows through the open deep pleated layer, large sand grains, coarse sediment, thick rust scale and large flocs are captured on the outer pleat surface. Suspended particles larger than 50μm are uniformly intercepted by the high-strength PP filter media. The wide pleat gaps and optimized flow channels provide extremely smooth water paths, minimizing pressure drop and reducing the risk of surface blinding under heavy particulate load.
