Product Overview

HFU660UY100H13 is a high-performance 60-inch long coreless high flow filter cartridge, belonging to the upgraded Ultipleat UY series. Different from conventional 40-inch filter elements, this 1524mm ultra-long design greatly increases effective filtration area and service cycle, reducing the total number of cartridges and housing configuration costs for large water treatment systems. The filter adopts 6-inch large outer diameter, single open-end structure and inside-to-outside radial filtration mode.

The filter media is high-purity UY-grade gradient polypropylene pleated material with stable 10 micron filtration accuracy. The end caps and integrated lifting handle are made of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene with high structural strength. All connections adopt full thermal welding process without any adhesive, completely avoiding secondary contamination. Standard EPDM O-ring ensures tight sealing, while silicone, Buna-N and FKM seals are optional to adapt to various corrosive liquid and high-temperature working conditions. Widely used in large seawater desalination plants, power plant boiler feed water treatment, petrochemical process water and industrial circulating water pretreatment systems.

Working Principle

HFU660UY100H13 high flow filter cartridge applies mature inside-to-outside filtration principle. Raw water enters the inner cavity from the top open end and flows radially outward through multi-layer gradient crescent pleated media. Large particles such as sediment and rust are trapped on the inner coarse pleated layers, while fine suspended solids and colloidal impurities are deeply intercepted by the outer dense filter layers.

The unique crescent overlapping pleat structure optimizes fluid distribution, effectively prevents local blockage, and slows down the rising speed of system differential pressure. The ultra-long 60-inch design prolongs the filtration path and improves dirt holding capacity significantly. After full purification, qualified water flows out from the outer surface of the cartridge. Precision O-ring sealing eliminates unfiltered liquid bypass, ensuring consistent and reliable 10μm filtration efficiency throughout the operation cycle. All pollutants are locked inside the cartridge for safe and convenient replacement.
