During the long-term operation of a chemical plant in Inner Mongolia, the performance of the RO
membrane in the pure water system gradually declined, resulting in a decrease in water production
and desalination rate. In order to ensure the stable operation of the pure water system, improve the
quality and output of pure water, the chemical plant decided to replace the RO membrane in the pure
water system.
Preliminary preparation
Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the pure water system to determine the extent of damage to
the RO membrane and the need for replacement.
Develop a detailed replacement plan, including replacement time, steps, safety measures, etc.
Disassembly and installation of RO membrane
Close the inlet valve and power supply of the pure water system, and drain the water from the system.
Open the RO membrane shell, remove the old membrane, clean the internal impurities, and inspect
the new RO membrane to ensure no damage.
Install the new RO membrane correctly into the membrane housing, paying attention to the installation
direction and sealing performance.
System debugging+post testing
After installation, open the inlet valve and power supply to debug the pure water system. Check the
pressure, flow rate, desalination rate and other parameters of the system to ensure normal operation.
Continuously monitor the pure water system to ensure stable operation.
On-site Report

The successful implementation of the RO membrane replacement project for a pure water system in a
chemical plant in Inner Mongolia has effectively improved the performance and stability of the pure
water system, reduced the occurrence of failures, extended the service life of the system, reduced
maintenance costs, and provided reliable support for the production of the chemical plant.
