Project Overview

The integrated industry construction project of platinum group metal materials includes the full process 

service of bag filter system and supporting engineering for catalyst workshop three (copper workshop) 

and catalyst workshop one (palladium and platinum workshop), covering design, supply, installation, 

commissioning, and technical services.


The first waste gas treatment process

A flow of 3000m ³/h, with an average dust concentration of 200mg/m ³, requires a size range of 16 to 30 

mesh for powder crushing. There are some smaller scale dust particles in the operation of crushing or 

flaking machines. Dust is a copper silicon mixture (silicon dioxide/copper) with a copper content of around 

20% and a material moisture content of approximately 1%.


The dusty exhaust gas first passes through the cyclone dust collector, and the dust concentration of the 

treated gas is ≤ 100mg/m ³. It then merges with the other three streams of dusty gas and enters the 

subsequent 1 # bag filter. After treatment, it is discharged through the chimney.


The second waste gas treatment process



5600m ³/h of waste gas containing nanoscale silica is first passed through the 2 # bag filter, then through 

the fan, and finally through the waste gas absorption water washing tower before being discharged through the chimney.  


Application of exhaust gas absorption water washing tower: The gas-phase silica that cannot be captured 

after dust removal cannot be captured by other methods due to its small particle diameter, and can only 

be washed down using its water-soluble properties.


Tower material: fiberglass or 304 stainless steel, with a flow rate of ≤ 1.5m/s inside the tower, equipped 

with 2 layers of packing, 2 layers of sprinkler system, and maintenance platform.


Configure a circulating pump (one in use and one as backup), and install a pressure gauge at the outlet 

of the circulating pump.


The third type of waste gas treatment process

The air volume is 1000m ³/h, the maximum dust concentration is 5g/m ³, and the emission standard is 

10mg/m ³. The size range of dust is 16 to 30 mesh, and there are some smaller scale dust particles in 

the operation of crushers or shredders. Dust is a copper silicon mixture (silicon dioxide/copper) with 

a copper content of around 20% and a material moisture content of approximately 1%. The bottom 

of the equipment is equipped with 2 heavy-duty silent casters with universal brakes, and the back is 

equipped with an industrial handle for flexible movement.


The fourth and fifth waste gas treatment processes

Platinum series 8800 m³/h → #3 Baghouse Dust Collector → Fan 3 → Chimney

Platinum series 2200 m³/h → #4 Baghouse Dust Collector → Fan 4 → Chimney

Platinum series 5500 m³/h → #5 Baghouse Dust Collector → Fan 5 → Chimney

Platinum series 2200 m³/h → #6 Baghouse Dust Collector → Fan 6 → Chimney


Each set of dust collectors is considered for online dust cleaning, and the bag bag and bag cage are 

required to be of the same model and specification for easy interchangeability in the later stage.
