This replacement HFR20A010D high flow filter cartridge is a 10 micron large flow pleated filter, specially engineered for high-flow, high solids and chemical corrosion working conditions. This high flow filter cartridge adopts unique radial pleat technology and high-loft microfiber filter media, packing massive filtration area inside a compact 20-inch shell. It fits standard water filter housing perfectly for simple installation and replacement. When matched with self-cleaning filter units in the whole filtration loop, it effectively removes coarse particles to safeguard downstream processing equipment. Compared with 5 micron filter models, HFR20A010D delivers higher initial flow rate and lower initial pressure drop, which works as the core component for medium particle interception, high-viscosity liquid clarification, pre-filtration and protective filtration. The outer diameter is 6.5 inch with large inner core structure, and it follows inside-to-out flow path.
Working Principle
Flow Direction Control:
Liquid enters from the inner side of the filter cartridge, penetrates outwards through radial pleated layers. Contaminants are trapped inside the folded filter media. When replacing the cartridge, trapped impurities will not easily drop into the downstream clean pipeline.
Gradient Multi-layer Filtration:
Combination of surface capture and deep depth filtration: The high-loft media forms 3D staggered micro-pores. Large particles are blocked on the surface, and particles ≥10μm are captured inside the deep fiber network.
