This PFNM20-40-H13 high flow filter cartridge equivalent is developed to upgrade conventional bag filter systems. As a key consumable for industrial water filter systems, this high flow filter cartridge can be matched with self-cleaning filter to build multi-stage pretreatment workflow. Constructed with 100% pure polypropylene deep melt-blown fiber mesh media, it uses Nexis gradient depth filtration technology. This replacement cartridge fully matches the dimension, inside-to-outside flow path and top handle structure of PFNM20-40-H13. It comes with 40 inch length, 6 inch outer diameter, 20μm absolute filtration rating and EPDM O-ring seal. It can be directly installed into existing No.2 bag filter housings without any housing modification. With inside-to-outside flow design, trapped contaminants stay inside the cartridge during removal, avoiding contamination to filter housing and downstream pipelines. It is widely used for high viscosity fluid clarification and general chemical liquid filtration.

Working Principle

This PFNM20-40-H13 equivalent high flow filter cartridge adopts inside-to-outside flow construction. Raw fluid enters the inner cavity from the top opening, and flows radially outward through deep polypropylene media under pressure difference. Solid particles, colloids and suspended impurities are captured and locked inside the fiber mesh of the cartridge. When replacing, lifting the whole cartridge brings all trapped pollutants out in one go, preventing impurities from dropping into pipelines and housing. The filter media has gradient pore distribution, coarse pores on inner layer capture large particles while fine outer pores intercept fine contaminants. This staged deep interception prevents rapid surface clogging and greatly boosts dirt holding efficiency.
