Our HF645-40 adopts reinforced polypropylene pleated media with optimized pleat fixing structure to prevent pleat displacement under fluctuating differential pressure. Working Principle
Raw water or recycled wastewater flows from the outer surface inward through the multi-layer pleated polypropylene media of HF645-40 high flow filter cartridge. Sediment, rust particles and colloidal impurities are trapped on the media surface and depth layers. The clarified water flows through the inner support core and flows to downstream treatment processes. The pleated design greatly increases the effective filtration area. As pollutants accumulate gradually, the differential pressure of the system rises. When the pressure difference reaches the preset limit, operators can quickly complete the cartridge replacement. This pre-filtration step removes most particulate pollutants in advance, avoiding scratches and fouling on expensive RO membrane elements and extending the overall service life of reverse osmosis membranes.
