The RFP050-40NPX is a high-performance high-flow filter cartridge designed by Parker, specifically engineered for reverse osmosis (RO) systems. As a core pre-filtration component, it plays a critical role in protecting RO membranes, extending their service life and ensuring the stable operation of the entire water treatment system.
With the model code RFP050-40NPX, this cartridge features a 5μm filtration rating (indicated by "050") and a 40-inch (1016mm) length (marked by "40"), adopting a polypropylene (PP) and glass fiber composite filter media structure (coded by "NPX"). Its large-diameter design (6-inch outside diameter, 3.5-inch inside diameter) enables excellent flow capacity, with a suggested maximum flow rate of 50m³/h, which is 10-15 times that of conventional small-flow filter cartridges.
Crafted with high-quality materials, the filter media is made of polypropylene (PP) for efficient filtration of impurities such as suspended solids, particles, and sediments in water, preventing clogging and damage to RO membranes. The end cap is made of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene, ensuring strong structural stability and resistance to high pressure and temperature. The seal material options (EPDM, Buna-N, Viton) provide good compatibility with different water quality and operating conditions, with a maximum operating temperature of 82℃ and a maximum differential pressure of 3.4Bar @ 82℃.
