This high flow filter cartridge housing is a professional water filter housing built to accommodate high flow filter cartridges for RO pretreatment. It is widely paired with high flow filter cartridge and self-cleaning filter to realize multi-stage water purification. Different from conventional filter housings, this design supports larger-size filter cartridges and lowers overall investment. Horizontal configuration and centerless structure make cartridge replacement faster and simpler, which effectively reduces downtime for maintenance. The matched high flow filter cartridge features outer diameter 152mm, inner diameter 89mm and length 1016mm. The filter layer and support layer are made of PP polypropylene, end caps adopt glass fiber reinforced polypropylene, and O-ring options are EPDM or fluororubber. Filtration precision ranges from 1μm to 80μm to meet diverse pretreatment requirements.
Working Principle
Raw water enters the filter housing, flows radially through the high flow filter cartridge. Suspended solids, colloids and fine particles are trapped on the PP filter layer. Clean water permeates through the filter media and flows out towards the RO membrane system. As contaminants accumulate, the differential pressure rises, and operators replace the high flow filter cartridge to restore filtration capacity and protect downstream RO elements.
