8040 Seawater RO Membrane Element High Rejection Desalination Membrane
Introduction:8040 Seawater RO Membrane Element is a professional high-pressure desalination membrane developed for high-salinity raw water. Compared with conventional brackish water RO membranes, it has higher pressure resistance, stricter molecular interception accuracy and stronger anti-oxidation ability. The upgraded thin-film composite polyamide layer achieves ultra-high salt rejection, which can adapt to extreme high TDS seawater working conditions. The reinforced membrane support structure prevents membrane deformation under long-term high-pressure operation. All products are strictly tested for high salinity tolerance, ensuring stable desalination performance in harsh marine environments. It is a perfect replacement for imported seawater RO membrane elements with cost-effective price and fast delivery.

Product parameter:
As a professional manufacturer of industrial filtration consumables, we provide high-performance Liquid Filters and heavy-duty Hydraulic Filter elements for various industrial filtration systems. This 8040 Seawater RO Membrane Element is specially designed for high TDS seawater desalination and high-salinity brackish water treatment. Different from standard brackish water membranes, this seawater RO membrane adopts upgraded high-pressure resistant polyamide material, featuring ultra-high salt rejection and strong pollution resistance. It can stably filter high-salinity seawater, remove sodium ions, chloride ions and various dissolved salts efficiently. Widely used in coastal desalination projects, offshore platforms and high-salinity industrial water treatment, it is the core filter element for professional seawater purification systems.

Working Principle
The 8040 seawater RO membrane adopts high-pressure driven membrane separation technology. Under the working pressure of 5.5MPa – 6.0MPa, high-salinity seawater flows through the membrane surface. The ultra-dense polyamide interception layer effectively traps a large number of salt ions, mineral impurities and colloidal pollutants in seawater, while pure water molecules pass through smoothly to produce fresh water. Concentrated brine is discharged separately. Cooperated with front-stage Liquid Filters and precision pretreatment systems, it reduces large particle impurities and protects the seawater membrane element from surface abrasion and fouling, ensuring long-term stable desalination efficiency.

FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between seawater RO membrane and brackish water RO membrane?
A1: Seawater membrane can withstand 5.5–6.0MPa high pressure and adapt to 42000ppm high TDS water, with higher salt rejection. Brackish membrane is only suitable for low-salinity raw water and cannot be used for seawater.
Q2: Can this 8040 seawater membrane replace famous brand membranes?
A2: Yes, fully consistent with industry standard size and high-pressure resistance parameters, direct drop-in replacement with stable desalination performance.
Q3: What pretreatment is needed for seawater?
A3: Multi-stage precision Liquid Filters are required to control SDI≤3, remove suspended solids and marine impurities to protect the high-pressure seawater membrane.
Q4: What is the service life of seawater RO membrane?
A4: Under standard pretreatment and regular chemical cleaning, the service life can reach 2–3 years.
Q5: Is customized service available?
A5: We support bulk project customization and provide complete seawater desalination technical solutions.
