SWC5-LD is a high-performance low fouling seawater reverse osmosis (RO) membrane produced by Hydranautics (a Nitto Group brand). It is specially designed for seawater desalination, high-salinity water treatment and industrial water purification systems.
With a standard size of 8" × 40", this membrane element delivers a stable water production of 9,000 GPD (34.1 m³/day) and a high salt rejection rate of up to 99.8%, ensuring excellent water quality and efficient operation.
Its advanced low fouling (LD) design reduces membrane fouling caused by colloids, organic substances and microorganisms, extending operating cycles and lowering maintenance costs. The membrane features high pressure resistance, stable performance, and strong chemical tolerance, making it suitable for seawater desalination plants, offshore water systems, brackish water treatment, and various industrial high-salinity water treatment applications.
