By controlling winding tension, the filter forms a gradient structure: loose outer layers and denser inner layers to realize depth filtration. Standard dimension is 40 inch length, outer diameter 60mm, inner diameter 30mm, compatible with all standard 40 inch filter housings. Different from disposable melt blown filters, this string wound cartridge can be cleaned and reused for several cycles under suitable working conditions, reducing long-term operational cost. It can withstand higher pressure and has good resistance to weak acid and weak alkali, suitable for many industrial aqueous liquids and some low-viscosity chemical fluids.

When liquid flows through the wound yarn layers, large particles such as sand and rust flakes are trapped in the outer loose yarn layers. Medium suspended impurities are captured in the middle winding layers. Particles larger than 20 micron are intercepted by the compact inner yarn layers. The multi-layer winding structure distributes contaminants inside the entire filter body instead of only on the surface, so it can hold more dirt before pressure rises. The rigid inner core prevents filter collapse under differential pressure, guaranteeing stable filtration performance during continuous system operation.
