Product Introduction
This LFB stainless steel security filter adopts high-quality 304 or 316L stainless steel shell. As a versatile water filter housing that supports various filter elements including high flow filter cartridge, it features light weight, large filtration area and fast flow rate with low risk of clogging. It accepts 10" to 40" filter cartridges of different types: PP melt-blown cartridges, pleated filter cartridges, string-wound cartridges, activated carbon cartridges and more. It is generally installed upstream of pressure vessels to remove fine particles above 1 NTU, or placed at the terminal of water treatment lines to guard finished water quality. It is most frequently installed after multi-media filters and before reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration membranes, intercepting tiny quartz sand, activated carbon fines and residual contaminants. The available filtration precision ranges from 0.5μm to 100μm for flexible selection according to process requirements. Three mainstream structural styles are optional: clamp type, flange type and flange with swing arm.

Working Principle
Liquid enters the stainless steel housing and flows through the filter cartridge made of polypropylene melt-blown or other filter media under pressure. Solid sediments, suspended solids, rust, colloids and bacteria are retained on the outer surface of the filter media, while the clarified filtrate permeates through the cartridge core and flows out from the outlet. When the pressure difference rises to the set value, users replace the internal filter cartridge to restore filtration performance.
