There's no fixed time to replace precision filter cartridges. It depends on actual usage. Replace the cartridge when water quality noticeably declines. If a specific interval must be given, it's generally around 3-6 months.
Security filters contain precision filter cartridges. These cartridges typically use external pressure. Water passes through the cartridge's tiny pores, enters the central tube, and exits. These pores trap fine impurities, the trapping capacity primarily determined by the cartridge's pore size. The cartridge needs replacement after a period of use.
There's no fixed time for replacing security filter cartridges or precision filter cartridges. Replacement depends mainly on proper usage and maintenance.
Generally, the cartridge needs replacement in the following situations:
1. The cartridge is deformed or damaged;
2. The precision filter's filtration accuracy decreases, failing to meet output water requirements;
3. The system's water output is insufficient, etc.
Common reasons for frequent replacement of security filter cartridges include:
1. Unstable raw water quality with frequent fluctuations, leading to excessive particulate matter entering the filter cartridge and shortening the replacement cycle.
2. Poor pretreatment performance. Incompatible flocculants and scale inhibitors added during pretreatment or mismatched with the water source cause sticky substances to adhere to the filter cartridge surface, hindering effective filtration.
3. Poor filter cartridge quality. Poor-quality cartridges have essentially the same pore size inside and out, meaning only the outer layer effectively intercepts pollutants. Good filter cartridges, on the other hand, have progressively smaller pore sizes from the outside in, with an inner layer filtration precision of 5±0.5µm. They have a larger dirt-holding capacity and can maintain acceptable water quality for a longer service life.
