Reverse osmosis water treatment equipment is usually composed of three parts: raw water pretreatment system, reverse osmosis purification system, and ultra-purification post-treatment system. The purpose of pretreatment is mainly to make the raw water meet the feed water requirements of the reverse osmosis membrane separation components and ensure the stable operation of the reverse osmosis purification system.

The reverse osmosis membrane system is the most economical and efficient purification method to remove more than 98% of ions, organic matter and 100% of microorganisms (in theory) from the raw water at one time. The ultra-purification post-treatment system further removes the remaining trace ions, organics and other impurities in the reverse osmosis purified water through a variety of integrated technologies to meet the final water quality index requirements for different applications.

Reverse osmosis is the most sophisticated membrane liquid separation technology that applies operating pressure on the feed water (concentrated solution) side to overcome the natural osmotic pressure. When the operating pressure higher than the natural osmotic pressure is applied to the concentrated solution side, the natural permeation flow direction of water molecules will be reversed and the water molecules in the feed water (concentrated solution) will partially pass through the reverse osmosis membrane to become the purified produced water on the dilute solution side.

Reverse osmosis equipment can block all dissolved salts and organic matter with molecular weight greater than 100, but allow water molecules to pass through, reverse osmosis composite membrane desalination rate is generally greater than 98%, they are widely used in industrial pure water and electronic ultrapure water preparation, drinking pure water production, boiler feed water and other processes, the use of reverse osmosis equipment before ion exchange can significantly reduce the bottom of the operating water and wastewater emissions.

When using reverse osmosis systems, special attention should be paid to the raw water pretreatment. In order to avoid blocking the reverse osmosis system, the raw water should be pretreated to eliminate the suspended matter in the water and reduce the turbidity of the water; in addition, it should be sterilized to prevent the growth of microorganisms. Because of the high requirements of reverse osmosis on the raw water suspension, so commonly used a water quality to the contamination of suspended matter pollution index to detect the water quality. This method is essentially the determination of reverse osmosis system by the water of suspended matter pollution blockage situation. Into the reverse osmosis system water contamination index to not more than 5 is appropriate, the recommended value is generally less than 3.

The pH value of the incoming water should also be taken into account during pretreatment. All kinds of semi-permeable membranes have their most suitable pH value for operation, so the pH value of feed water should be adjusted according to the requirements of reverse osmosis membrane. The temperature of the feed water should also be taken into account during pretreatment. The water permeability of membrane increases with the increase of water temperature, but high temperature will accelerate the hydrolysis rate of cellulose acetate membrane and make the organic membrane soft and easy to compact. Therefore, for organic membranes, it is usually appropriate to control the temperature in the range of about 20-40°C, and for composite membranes, it is appropriate to control the temperature in the range of about 5-45°C.

Reverse osmosis technology is an energy efficient technology. It relies on pressure to drive the separation of water and ions for the purpose of purification and concentration. The process has no phase change, generally does not require heating, low energy consumption, low operating costs, no pollution, easy operation and reliable operation, high water quality, and has become the most energy-efficient technology for desalination of seawater and brackish water. It has been widely used in many industries such as medicine, electronics, chemical, food, seawater desalination, etc. Reverse osmosis technology has become the preferred water treatment technology in modern industry.

We have to do a good job of daily protection measures of reverse osmosis water treatment equipment, because once our maintenance measures are not in place, it will lead to equipment purification out of the water is not clean or even will contain many impurities.

One of the most important in the maintenance process is the maintenance of pure water equipment reverse osmosis membrane, because pure water equipment reverse osmosis membrane is the most important link to achieve the function of water purification. To do timely cleaning, once the damage must be replaced.

Then is to maintain the entire operating system of the water purification equipment, because the operation of the equipment is controlled through it, so we must maintain the operating system well.

There is also water storage equipment should be maintained, especially the storage of purified water storage, can not appear secondary pollution, and can not appear leakage.

There is our reverse osmosis water treatment equipment for maintenance, but also to maintain the accessories to ensure the overall use of the equipment.
