The skid mounted chemical dosing unit is a packaged modular system built on a shared base platform. It can be matched with water filter housing and self-cleaning filter on the upstream pipeline, to remove impurities and avoid pump blockage caused by suspended particles. The whole assembly includes dissolving tank, agitator, level gauge, safety valve, check valve, pressure gauge, filter, pulsation damper, pipelines, valves, ladder, monitoring system and electric control cabinet. Operators add quantitative chemicals into the dissolving tank for mixing and dissolution. After preparation, the metering pump delivers the liquid chemical to dosing points. The dosing flow rate can be adjusted freely to meet different dosing requirements. Users only need to place the skid unit in the dosing room, connect the inlet and dosing outlet pipes, and switch on the power supply to start operation. It supports manual and automatic dosing modes for various water treatment processes.
Working Principle
The chemical powder or liquid agent is added into the dissolving tank first. The built-in agitator runs continuously to fully dissolve the chemical with water. The liquid level sensor monitors the liquid level inside the tank in real time. When the solution is ready, the metering pump pushes the prepared chemical solution through the pipeline to the target dosing point. Accessories such as check valves, pressure gauges and pulsation dampers stabilize the pipeline pressure and protect the metering pump. The filter inside the dosing unit further filters the liquid medicine to reduce wear on pump components. The electric control system controls the start-stop of the agitator and metering pump. The dosing amount can be adjusted according to online water quality signals or manual settings.
