An automatic self cleaning filter integrated with Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology provides an ideal solution for power plants aiming to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and sustainable water management. Power plant wastewater—ranging from cooling tower blowdown to flue-gas desulfurization (FGD) discharge—contains high concentrations of salts, metals, and organic pollutants. Our advanced MBR modules, combined with our coalescer filter technology for oil removal, allow these complex streams to be treated and recycled for cooling, ash handling, or irrigation, significantly reducing the plant's raw water consumption.

Advanced Membrane Biology

The MBR process eliminates the need for large secondary clarifiers by using high-precision membranes to separate treated water from biological solids. This results in a much smaller physical footprint and an effluent quality that far exceeds traditional treatment methods. Our MBR modules utilize reinforced PVDF hollow fibers with a nominal pore size of 0.03 microns, effectively blocking all suspended solids and pathogens.
