Made with high-purity graded quartz sand (with strict particle size screening) as the core filter medium, it can effectively trap suspended particles, sediment, colloidal impurities, algae, and some organic pollutants in water under stable pressure. What is the appropriate backwashing frequency for the quartz sand filter?Backwashing is recommended when the pressure difference of the filter reaches 0.05–0.07MPa. Generally, this happens every 1 to 7 days, depending on the turbidity and impurity content of the incoming water.

How long can the quartz sand filter media be used before replacement?With proper use and regular maintenance, the quartz sand filter media can be used for 1 to 3 years. If the effluent turbidity increases significantly or the filtration efficiency decreases, it is necessary to partially replace or supplement the filter media.
