What is the recommended backwashing frequency for the quartz sand filter?Backwashing is suggested when the filter’s pressure difference reaches 0.05–0.07MPa. Generally, this occurs every 1 to 7 days, which depends on the turbidity of the incoming water and the amount of impurities contained.

How long can the quartz sand filter media be used before replacement?With proper use and regular maintenance, the quartz sand filter media can be used for 1 to 3 years. If the effluent turbidity increases significantly or the filtration efficiency decreases, you need to partially replace or supplement the filter media.
