Self-cleaning filters are designed to offer the best combination of high filtration performance and lower maintenance costs due to their self-diagnostic clogging and self-cleaning capability of filter systems.


Cleaning technologies available on our filters include vacuum skid systems, pressurized water jets, and scraping brushes.


The cleaning system using flexible and suction skids, LEFILTER's patented technology, exploits the Venturi principle to generate a suction of dirt in the form of punctual back wash at the skid passage, bringing all solids deposited on the cartridge to discharge. These systems ensure complete and thorough cleaning of the filter elements, providing high efficiency in the filtration process without interrupting the filtrate during washing steps.


Pressurized water jet cleaning technology simulates, in a fully automatic manner, the cleaning performed by the operator with a pressure washer on the cartridge. This kind of technology, which goes well with all natures of dirt or particles to be removed, requires a filtrate break of about 1’10”.


The scraping brush cleaning method ensures effective cleaning by scraping the filter surface, carried out by EPDM bristle brushes, which ensures effective cleaning of the filter cartridge without the need for external intervention.
