PP Melt Blown Filter Cartridge 20 Micron 40 Inch is a high-flow coarse-grade depth filter specially designed for high-turbidity raw water conditions. Adopting advanced melt-blown integral forming technology, pure polypropylene raw materials are melted and spun into continuous fiber layers, achieving binder-free and pollution-free filtration. The unique gradient pore structure enables outer fiber layers to trap large coarse impurities, while inner dense fibers intercept fine particles above 20μm, realizing full three-dimensional depth filtration. Standard 40-inch industrial size, 60mm outer diameter and 30mm inner diameter ensure full compatibility with all mainstream 40-inch filter housings for fast on-site replacement. Compared with fine-grade melt-blown filters, the 20μm model features larger pore size, higher flow rate and stronger anti-clogging performance, perfectly solving the problem of easy blockage when filtering high-turbidity raw water.


Working Principle

This 20 micron PP melt-blown filter follows the outside-in gradient depth filtration principle. When high-turbidity industrial raw water flows through the multi-layer melt-blown fiber matrix, coarse sediment, rust debris and large flocs are trapped by the loose outer fiber layers. Medium suspended particles are intercepted in the middle transition layer, and fine impurities larger than 20μm are deeply captured by the dense inner fiber layer. Different from traditional surface filtration, pollutants are evenly stored inside the entire filter body, maximizing dirt holding capacity and greatly extending the service cycle. The integrated self-supporting fiber structure maintains stable shape under long-term high-flow operation and pressure fluctuation, ensuring continuous and stable coarse filtration performance.
