A high-efficiency Oil Filtration Machine, utilizing a specialized Coalescing Filter, is essential for removing both particulate matter and free water from steam turbine lubrication oil and emergency diesel fuel. Water is a primary driver of oil oxidation, bearing corrosion, and microbial growth in fuel tanks. In the steam-rich environment of a power utility, water ingress is an ongoing challenge. Our coalescing-separation technology offers a fast, energy-efficient method to achieve "dry and bright" fluid quality without the high energy costs associated with vacuum dehydration.

The Physics of Coalescence
The process uses a two-stage approach. In the first stage, the coalescing element uses specialized glass fibers to attract microscopic water droplets, forcing them to merge into larger beads. In the second stage, a hydrophobic separator element allows the oil to pass through while blocking the water beads, which then settle at the bottom of the housing for easy drainage. This mechanical separation is highly effective for bulk water removal and is significantly more reliable than centrifugal methods when dealing with stable emulsions.

Protecting Critical Infrastructure
For emergency diesel generators, our coalescing systems ensure that the fuel is free of water and sludge, preventing fuel injector failure and ensuring a successful start during a grid emergency. For main turbine oil tanks, continuous polishing with our coalescing machines prevents the formation of "black oil" and varnish. By maintaining the oil's dielectric and lubricating properties, our systems safeguard the long-term reliability of the plant's most expensive rotating equipment, reducing the need for costly oil replacements and hazardous waste disposal.
